Uganda E Tourist Visa

The e-tourist visa is a single-entry visa specially created for tourists. It allows the holder to visit for holidays, sightseeing or even to spend time with friends and family who may be Ugandan citizens or permanent residents. This visa is strictly for tourism and other non-economic social engagements, so you are not allowed to seek employment in Uganda with it. It is available online and applicants don’t have to visit the Ugandan embassy or consulate in their country to apply for one.

Once it is approved the electronic visa will be mailed to their email and they must print out the e-visa confirmation and travel with it to Uganda as evidence.

Provide digital copies of the following documents:

  1. Passport copy. A clear scan of the information pages of your valid, signed passport.
  2. Passport-type photograph. A digital passport-type photograph taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a surcharge associated with this service.
  3. Yellow Fever. A copy of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV) for yellow fever. To learn more about the yellow fever vaccination or to locate a vaccination clinic, please visit the CDC's yellow fever resource page .
  4. Itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.
