ITINERARY


Wasini Full Day Tour

The adventure start at 0600hrs from your beach resort, Mombasa port, Residence or Moi Airport. We’ll drive across Likoni ferry Chanel and on via Ukunda town to Shimoni. The journey is through the colorful villages of Digo tribe (one of the 9 tribes along the Kenyan coast). And through lush coconut and cashew nut farms, you will enjoy the scenic route to Wasini.

Arrive at tranquil fishing village of Shimoni near the Tanzanian border in the early morning hours.

Jet board a motorized dhow with a sail at Shimoni Jetty, and cruise and sail through the enchanting seascape of Mpunguti island for dolphin spotting, and then proceed to the underwater beauty of Kisite Marine Park.

In the shallow and warm waters around Kisite Island, snorkelers will enjoy the amazing variety of marine life viewing. Sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling shall be experience here.

Additionally, it is a haven for numerous ocean birds.

For scuba divers, they’ll be escorted to explore a number of excellent dive sites, also teeming with astounding variety of Marine life that inhabit the magnificent coral reefs in and around the park.

Thereafter we’ll return to our boat to experience another sail, this time heading to Wasini island. These is the largest among the 3 islands. Its here we’ll have our sumptuous hot swahili styled sea food lunch. But after our lunch we can not just leave the island without exploring it. So, We’ll have a short walk to visit one of the vumba native village before sailing back to Shimoni, where we started our sea adventure.

Having explored the islands, we’ll return you to your hotel arriving in the evening. End of our adorable sea adventure to Wasini and the Islands from Mombasa.
